Biography
I am a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in neurology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I commonly treat conditions including headache and memory disorders, carpal tunnel syndrome, restless leg syndrome and neuralgia. I also see patients for diabetic nerve damage, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, hereditary sensory and motor neuropathy disorders and other conditions.
I chose to pursue a career in medicine after becoming a patient myself. During that experience, I became fascinated and curious about how the body works and that enthusiasm now carries over into my clinical care. I strive to always provide the best care possible to everyone who comes to see me. My goal is to help patients improve their health and gain a better understanding of their own body and chronic conditions.

Sam is always extremely friendly, listens to my concerns and goes over all or my records to make sure nothing has changed and if thye have he will make sure to make notes and go over them with me. He even went over a marchart conversation that we had over a medication that another doctor prescribed to me that was causing me migraines and I asked him his opinion on that medication before I went back to that doctor to quit taking that medication.
For the first time, I feel like I am heard and my health concerns are taken seriously. Multiple tests have been ordered to find some answers. Very kind and caring!
He was great. Spent more time than usual with me. Answered all my questions and gave me some info I didn't know I needed !
The attention to detail and the time spent going over how I had been through a lot and a game plan to move forward was far beyond my initial expectations for a first visit. My mind is blown in the best way and I cannot wait to see where this leads to a healthier future for me.

He always listens to me and never rushes me. He laid out plan to help me figure out over next visit or two if my migraines changed.
Samuel Palumbo was so comfortable to talk with. Very patient and informative when it came to my issues. He patiently answered all of my questions and kept asking, "Do you have anymore questions?" Most neurologists in the past seemed to rush me out the door, but not Samuel!
He is always kind, will repeat anything I didn't hear or help me understand it.
The Care Provider was pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful.
I didn't really ask, but I wish he had given me more information about how to care for my mouth besides just prescribing medicine.

He was good. I think my expectations were too high for this appointment. I asked several questions and received vague answers. But he was very kind, did a few tests and was overall knowledgeable about my condition and concerns.
Sam is amazing. Loved his personality and the ease in which he made me feel immediately upon entering the room. He was charming, personable, smart and very caring. I was totally impressed with him.
