Biography
I am passionate about helping to improve each patient’s quality of life as a urologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I regularly treat patients with issues including urinary difficulties, UTIs, kidney stones, and sexual and erectile dysfunction. I also perform screenings and provide care for patients with bladder, kidney and prostate cancer.
My medical school and residency training inspired me to pursue a career in academic medicine. The Ohio State University is a respected national leader in health care and I am excited to be part of the urology team. In my role, I also serve as an assistant professor in the Department of Urology and mentor urology residents.
My research is focused on health care trends and strategies to improve access to equitable care. I have authored dozens of abstracts and published articles. I also participated in multiple health care quality and safety improvement projects during my medical training, and I am certified by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in Quality and Safety.
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I like cooking and exploring Columbus.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

The Dr did everything right
When I mentioned all the ailments I am experiencing she said she would only worry about the prostrate because that was her expertise. Even though I mentioned they might be related. Wish she would have at least pretended to understand what I was saying.

I love my care provider. She was able to diagnose me with a rare urinary issue that 3 other doctors weren't able to. She has prescribed a medication that has been successful and recommended some exercise for another urinary issue I have. I see her once a year for follow up and to renew medication, however I can call the office any time or use the patient portal and she gets back to me quickly.
I did not like that it seemed like my medical history had not been fully looked at. Also, I updated the nurse and when the doctor came in she did not have or did not read the updated information.

What I am most happy about was the comment he made to me, that he would investigate and we would mainly take into account the consequences and origin of my illness. This was for me a great point of view that was unique to all the other doctors, he told me that he would treat me and analyze the origin and causes of my health problem.
