As a cardiologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in cardiovascular care and cardiac imaging. I enjoy developing relationships with my patients and helping them make medical decisions that best fit their needs. Decisions about medical care go beyond the lab tests and findings to include the patient’s own goals and interests, which I feel are important to take into account.
My job is so rewarding and I love that each day brings a new challenge. I provide care to patients across a wide spectrum, including the sickest patients in the hospital, patients needing imaging and stress tests as well as patients in my ambulatory clinic.
The people here are what make Ohio State great. I have the opportunity to work with so many wonderful individuals who make the days go by quickly.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three daughters. We are an active family and enjoy biking, swimming and running. My wife and I compete in triathlons when we are able to find the time.
Please note: Not all physicians schedule patients at each listed location.
In addition to caring for patients, I am involved in education and administration. I am currently the director for Ohio State’s Cardiology Fellowship and the medical director of the cardiology outpatient clinics.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
