I’m a pulmonologist who specializes in treating patients with lung cancer. My interests include interventional pulmonary medicine, asthma and critical care. I’m also an associate clinical professor at The Ohio State University. With more than 20 years in my practice, I know there is no routine cancer. I enjoy collaborating with my team at the OSUCCC – James to advocate for each patient on an individual level.

Clinical research is a key part of my work. My focus areas are interventional pulmonary procedures, lung cancer and pleural diseases. Some of my specific goals are to improve transbronchial needle aspiration (TBNA) diagnostics, as well as develop more effective treatments for diaphragm paralysis and non-malignant pleural effusions, or, fluid buildup in the lungs.

My findings have been published in several medical journals including American Journal of Public Health, Controlled Clinical Trials and Pediatrics, to name a few. I stay active in my field as member of the American College of Chest Physicians as well as with the American Association of Bronchology.
