"I am a board-certified Internal Medicine specialist focused on providing exceptional primary care to help people achieve their wellness goals. I am especially passionate about senior care, heart health and nutrition. My role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center also includes addressing acute and chronic conditions such as coronary artery disease, dementia, diabetes, hypothyroidism and musculoskeletal pain.I chose a career in medicine to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. My approach emphasizes attentive listening and working collaboratively with my patients to find the best treatment plan tailored to their individual needs and values.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family and friends, cooking and outdoor activities. I also enjoy interior design, going to the movies and watching inspirational documentaries."

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Dr Batra is great. She makes sure my medications are current, and is always quick to respond to any concerns or questions may have.
Given the fact I had my privates examined, Dr Batra was VERY polite and eased my nerves (I didn't tell her I was nervous) and made me feel comfortable the entire time, and explained everything she found.
