About Me
I am a board-certified Internal Medicine specialist focused on providing exceptional primary care to help people achieve their wellness goals. I am especially passionate about senior care, heart health and nutrition. My role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center also includes addressing acute and chronic conditions such as coronary artery disease, dementia, diabetes, hypothyroidism and musculoskeletal pain.
I chose a career in medicine to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. My approach emphasizes attentive listening and working collaboratively with my patients to find the best treatment plan tailored to their individual needs and values.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family and friends, cooking and outdoor activities. I also enjoy interior design, going to the movies and watching inspirational documentaries.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr Batra is great. She makes sure my medications are current, and is always quick to respond to any concerns or questions may have.
Given the fact I had my privates examined, Dr Batra was VERY polite and eased my nerves (I didn't tell her I was nervous) and made me feel comfortable the entire time, and explained everything she found.

Didn't listen well. Didn't look past her computer when asking questions. Kept asking "Is there anything else?" when we weren't done discussing the last item or even when we had only just started the interaction. We were scheduled to establish care with a longer appointment but were done in approximately 15 minutes. She didn't examine me or even really look at me. She didn't ask me critical questions about my history. I will not be using her for further care - I don't trust her to provide me with solid evidence based information or to ask the critical questions to make solid decisions.
My care provider was outstanding! She really cares about my well being and I know she's very thorough!

Dr Batra is great! She is very interested in patient well being, health care & also mental health. She also reminds us that if we have any problems concerns or questions between visits, that we use the MyChart to communicate any needs, concerns or problems to communicate with her. Very good patient care & concerns!

Bad. She didn't do anything. Wasted my time and money. I will NEVER SEE HER AGAIN! I went for armpit abscess and wanted her to remove it. She said I can't do it because I don't have time. She told me to go to the urgent care! She took an hour and half of my time to tell me that!
Dr. Batra is the first physician I have seen who took the time to carefully listen to my concerns and acknowledge that additional information needs to be collected before she can start working on my case. Most doctors immediately want to prescribe medication, but Dr. Batra took an entirely different approach and it was a very positive experience.
The doctor is the best ! She takes time to go over everything and doesn't rush out like most do. I wish I found her a long time ago.

Dr Batra was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to listen to my concerns and was willing to work with me on a plan going forward. She was most knowledgeable about blood pressure and able to help me with white coat syndrome and fluctuating readings whereas other providers simply take one reading upon arrival and then push meds. Dr Batra was refreshing as she treats each patient on an individual basis. She is one of the best providers I have had in a long time.
