Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr. Mao makes me and my daughter feel comfortable & safe. Great doc.!
Always attentive and informative.
We love Dr. Mao! Blown away by responsiveness.
Dr. Mao is wonderful - attentive, caring, thoughtful with her recommendations. So lucky to have her as our provider.
Dr. Mao is very efficient as well as caring. She never rushes through her appointments and always asks if I have any other questions.
It can be hard to schedule standard/routine appts. but care is excellent & DR. Mao spends a lot of time in room.
All good.
Sometimes seems very rushed. Always feels like a quick visit.
We really like our provider.
I will never go to another PCP by choice. She is the best I've ever had in charge of my health. I am new to Medicare this year. She explained their guidelines and expectations regarding overall care per insurance, aside from her direction, if that makes sense. Most providers don't know insurance guidelinesever. She shows concern about understanding the scope of my health and her care. I appreciate that.
Dr. Mao is always so nice and patient w/my kids.
Dr. Mao is wonderful. She knows me, she listens to me, & I trust her experience. It's always nice to see her even though it's for a doctor's appointment.
Dr. Mao is fantastic. She is a great listener & show empathy. She explains everything to me very clearly & makes me feel comfortable. She is the most caring & best doctor I have had as an adult. I recommend her to everyone.
Cheerful, positive, listens and answers questions clearly.
All was good.
I am happy with my doctor and have confidence in her abilities, just would be great if she went off script sometimes -- I believe that she is listening to me but I don't necessarily FEEL that she is listening. Maybe she was just in a rush that day.
Very attentive! Gave great thorough answers to our questions.
"The best".
Dr. Mao is a very attentive listener and is punctual and thorough.
I have been with Doctor Mayo for more than 4 to5 years . she always been treating me with respect and consideration. she always gave her best to understand my concerns and provide me the best solutions. she is respectful and very nice Doctor
Dr. Mao was wonderful as usual & he easily warmed up to her after a few minutes. She got him to stand on the scale as well, which he didn't want to do when we first arrived.
very concerned, refers to past medical history as if she remembers it
Great listener. Very patient with my questions. Reviewed information & offered insight in easily understood segments.
Dr. Mao is a very good listener with excellent eye contact and verbalized understanding of my statements to her.
doctor was amazing and patient
