About MeWhat’s rewarding about being a gastroenterologist is the ability to treat (or prevent) digestive disorders that can impact a person’s well-being. It’s important for me to bring individualized medical care to my patients. I do this by paying close attention to their needs and personal goals.
What I enjoy most about The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is working with top-notch experts in every field. We all work together to provide the most comprehensive care for patients.
In my spare time, I like to relax with my family, read and spend time outdoors.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 03/28/2017, Dr. Pfeil has reported no financial relationships with medical device, research and/or drug companies.
