About Me

What’s rewarding about being a gastroenterologist is the ability to treat (or prevent) digestive disorders that can impact a person’s well-being. It’s important for me to bring individualized medical care to my patients. I do this by paying close attention to their needs and personal goals.

What I enjoy most about The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is working with top-notch experts in every field. We all work together to provide the most comprehensive care for patients.

In my spare time, I like to relax with my family, read and spend time outdoors.

Great doctor.

There are not enough words in the english language to describe how wonderful Dr. Pfeil has been to me since the first time I saw her. She has taken great care in trying to find a solution to my health problems especially during my diagnosis of Carcinoid. At every visit she reviews my complete hx. and verifies what other members of my health care team are doing. She is the only doctor on my team that does such a comprehensive review at every visit. She shows concern and compassion for my unique set of problems and never rushes me. In 2005 - 06 she probably saved my life as she was the only one who doggedly pursued solutions to my multiple problems.. To me she is an angel.
