I am a board-certified nurse practitioner at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in diagnosing and treating patients for various conditions including heartburn, Barrett’s esophagus, gastrointestinal motility disorders, and other digestive health concerns.
My patients can rely on me for high quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers.

I arrived very sick. Shira took her time and developed a course of action that started immediately and followed up ithe next day.
My provider came to the room ta take care me in a few minutes, she is very nice to me and take care me very good.

The provider was rude acted like she had more important things to be doing and didn't want to listen to any of my concerns. She didn't really discuss my conditions with me or my concerns about them and has now referred me to another specialist for a different issue.

Dr Berger seems to be an excellent Dr. She seems to be rather "distant". This is fine, patients not there to find a friend but there to have a doc who will do her best to increase the health of the patient. I have a couple pressing health concerns outside Dr. Berger's specialty but I want her to do the best to see that I live long and healthy not fault me of not needing care bc of my age or other health concerns. Thank you.
