Biography
I am a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner providing comprehensive care to women throughout their lifespan, including prenatal and postnatal care, and gender-inclusive health services. I also provide contraception and am certified in Nexplanon insertion.
I am passionate about empowering my patients and helping them improve their quality of life. My approach combines evidence-based medicine with compassionate support. My patients can expect whole-person care and individualized treatment plans that address both their physical and emotional well-being.
I have worked in both rural and urban clinics, and I am committed to treating underserved populations and reducing barriers to quality care. In rural areas, I’ve seen the need for personalized, culturally sensitive care. Many women in these areas face barriers such as transportation challenges and limited healthcare resources. This experience instilled in me a deep commitment to advocacy, ensuring that my patients receive the support they need through telehealth options and community outreach initiatives.
Conversely, my time in urban clinics exposed me to diverse populations with varying health needs and backgrounds. This experience enhanced my ability to provide tailored care that respects cultural differences and addresses the complexities of urban living, such as varying socioeconomic factors.
Combining these experiences, I have developed a holistic approach to women’s health that considers not only the clinical aspects but also the social determinants of health. With this perspective, I am better able to foster strong relationships with my patients and empower them to take active roles in their health journey.
I am a member of The Menopause Society, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health, and the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health.
