About Me
I am a neurosurgeon who specializes in caring for people with spinal disorders and injuries, using both minimally invasive spine surgery and complex reconstructive spine surgery. Spinal health significantly impacts our quality of life. During my neurosurgical training, I was inspired to focus on spine surgery after seeing patients regain the ability to walk, use their hands again and get back to enjoying activities important to them.
My role as a surgeon is to understand each patient as an individual. I enjoy getting to know each patient’s needs, values and goals, and working with them to design a treatment plan. My philosophy is to approach the treatment of spinal disorders in the least invasive way possible. When surgery is needed, I can offer both minimally invasive approaches and traditional techniques, depending on the patient’s unique needs. I am also experienced in revision operations for patients who previously had spine surgery.
