Biography

I am a board-certified nurse practitioner at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in diagnosing and treating patients with various conditions related to colorectal health. A large portion of my clinical practice is centered around the care of patients with colon, rectal and anal cancers. I am honored to care for patients during their cancer journey, and I strive to provide compassionate, quality care tailored to the needs of each individual. I also have a passion for health promotion and disease prevention, which is why I am one of four providers in the ambulatory Anal Cancer Screening Clinic. In this clinic, I perform a procedure called high-resolution anoscopy, which focuses on screening and prevention of anal cancer.

My patients can rely on me for high quality, compassionate care and honest communication at every encounter. I love working in an academic medical setting because it challenges me to practice in an innovative, research-based manner and promotes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts. Through this, I can ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I was a critical care nurse for many years in trauma & surgical intensive care. As a nurse practitioner, my background is in urgent care and surgical populations. I believe that nurse practitioners have a unique ability to blend both the science of medicine and the art of nursing, which allows me to treat the disease process while also caring for the whole person.
