Biography
As a dedicated medical professional, I have a passion for both primary care and preventive medicine. I am committed to educating patients of all ages on how to maintain their health, stay up-to-date on recommended health screenings and prevent future illnesses. My approach focuses on empowering people to effectively manage chronic conditions and lead healthier lives.
I treat patients at Outpatient Care New Albany as the lead physician of General Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. I also serve as the associate chief health information officer at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and I am an Associate Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine within The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Dr. Koesters is always kind and gives thorough attention to my child. He is so knowledgeable and we feel completely confident in his capabilities. He is the best of the best and we feel so lucky to have him as our pediatrician.
After a recent emergency hospitalization I had many concerns. He spent almost an hour with me answering every concern professionally and completely. He had already answered several concerns by phone after I got home from the hospital.

Since my uti test came back negative the doctor told me to "just keep doing what you're already doing" as a course of action for my symptoms I was experiencing, which was a disappointing response.

I came in for blocked ears and was hoping for an ENT referral. Dr Koesters wanted to instead perform ear irrigation/ flushing. I was hesitant but he assured me everything would be fine and it would work. It in fact, did not work. My ears were still blocked and I started hearing ringing several hours later.
