Biography
I'm a dermatologist at The Ohio State University specializing in General Dermatology. My main areas of interest include acne, eczema, psoriasis, moles and skin cancers. It is a true privilege to care for adult and pediatric patients and address their dermatologic concerns. Every day brings new challenges, interesting disease presentations and opportunities to help my patients.
In addition to my clinical work and teaching responsibilities, I am active in community engagement with community outreach in skin cancer awareness and free skin cancer screenings.
Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, I have called Ohio my home for the last 20 years. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids and cheering on the Buckeyes in every sport.

Academics and research
I've been a Buckeye since 1998 when I arrived to complete an Internal Medicine residency followed by a Dermatology residency. I joined the faculty in 2007, and I love everything about The Ohio State University. I'm so thankful to work with incredible faculty and staff at a wonderfully vibrant and innovative medical center. I'm blessed to teach medical students and residents, and honored to be training the next generation of aspiring dermatologists as a professor of Internal Medicine.
I also serve on the Ohio State College of Medicine's Admissions Committee and on the Editorial Committee of the national Women's Dermatologic Society.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr Massick is amazing.. Professional and caring. She's extremely busy and her schedule is booked way out. But due to my hx of malignant melanoma they are good about getting me in when I need seen.
Resident was great, she provided guidance and was thorough with the explanation of the procedure

Care provider always takes the time needed to fully evaluate and respond to my current and past medical history. She always clearly informs me of procedures she is about to do and respects my privacy. In addition I am able to identify medical concerns I'd like my provider to address.
