About Me

I am a dermatologist at The Ohio State University specializing in General Dermatology. My main areas of interest include acne, eczema, psoriasis, moles, and skin cancers. It is a true privilege to care for adult and pediatric patients and address their dermatologic concerns. Every day brings new challenges, interesting disease presentations, and opportunities to help my patients.
I have been a Buckeye since 1998 when I arrived to complete an Internal Medicine residency followed by a Dermatology residency. I loved everything about OSU that I joined the faculty in 2007. I am so thankful to work with incredible faculty and staff at a wonderfully vibrant and innovative medical center. Blessed to teach medical students and residents, I am honored to be training the next generation of aspiring dermatologists as an Associate Professor of Medicine.
I am an advocate for women faculty at the College of Medicine (OSU COM) where I am the Advocacy co-chair for the Women in Medicine and Science (WIMS) Committee, which focuses on promoting gender equity and improving women faculty advancement and career development. I serve on the COM’s Admissions Committee and the Editorial Committee of the national Women’s Dermatologic Society. In addition to my clinical work and teaching responsibilities, I am active in community engagement with community outreach in skin cancer awareness and free skin cancer screenings.
Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, I have called Ohio my home for the last twenty years. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids and cheering on the Buckeyes in every sport.

Dr. Massick regularly follows up with me by phone or email and offers a high level of personalized attention. Her interest in my care is genuine. AND when I expressed concern about my difficulties securing an appointment for the Covid vaccine, she looked into it and contacted me the next day to alert me to vaccine openings. This was completely outside her medical duties related to me. she was just being helpful. so amazing to find doctors who go above and beyond what is expected. Dr. Massick is a great doctor.
