About Me

In addition to my expertise in minimally invasive surgery, my area of specialty is colon and rectal surgery. I chose to specialize in this field as it provides the unique ability to provide all aspects of care — medical, surgical and endoscopic interventions.

Being part of a large university center like Ohio State enables me to do more for my patients. Working as a team, we can provide individualized, multidisciplinary care for complex medical conditions such as rectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. Our team of physicians, researchers and more work together to create a targeted plan specific to you and your disease.

I appreciate the collegial environment, strong sports culture and research support. I also enjoy the opportunity to interact with young professionals, which gives me an opportunity to share my expertise and learn from others, too.

In my free time, I relax with my family and enjoy the outdoors.

In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
