About Me
As section chief of geriatrics at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I have extensive experience in completing and supervising clinical evaluations of older adults in a variety of clinical care settings. My academic background is in health services research and program development — both serve as the foundation of my expertise in chronic disease epidemiology, clinical case adjudication, as well as survey and Medicare claims-based data analysis. I have been a co-investigator on the Systolic Blood Pressure Intervention Trial (SPRINT) since 2012, where I explored the complex relationship between cardiovascular comorbidity and the presence of geriatric syndromes (such as falls, cognitive impairment) in health outcomes. I have been a co-investigator with faculty in the departments of Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, Pharmacology, Hematology-Oncology, Neurology, and in the schools of Nursing, Public Affairs, Public Health, and Social Work.

I felt cared for in a timely manner. Dr. Gure, whom I had never met, listened to my acute concerns and was able to prevent an Emergency Room visit for my illness.
Dr. Gure is an excellent physician who takes the time to listen. She sees me as a whole person. She really cares about her patients.
Dr. Gure listens to my concerns and knows my personal history and family situation. She takes the time to actively listen and then to answer my concerns giving me options to resolve my issues. This takes time. I know Dr. Gure gives the same attention to all her patients so I don't mind if she runs late for my appointment. I appreciate that she gives all her patients the time and attention that she gives me.
Excellent, time concerns addressed the best doctors care I have gotten in a long time.
She always takes time to talk to me about my health problems.

She is the best dr. I have ever had. Listens, takes time, is knowledgeable & follows up with other information when needed.
Dr. Gure was always very helpful and nice = And she was that way today too. She seems to care a great deal for her patients! She prescribed for my anemia (which I had in high school and my senior year in college). Hopefully - I will over come being so tired all the time.
She was OK but seemed to be sure of issue and solution without listening much to the nuances of what was happening.
She is fantastic I could not have a better dr.
Always professional, yet, caring, warm, compassionate, concerned, always an excellent listener.
All matters handled appropriately.
All very good.
Excellent: listens, looked directly at me when we talked (not at computer screen), touched me!, did a thorough physical exam as needed for this visit, asked pertinent questions, answered my questions, gave written info about visit w recommendations.
Caring, professional, attentive.
Worked well to control my post-nasal drip
Excellent. I have been a patient of Dr. Gure for several years. She has a very good understanding of my health and given me information and options for deciding on care for anxiety and other issues. She engages in a friendly and compassionate way. I trust her and appreciate her thoroughness during visits and making sure I have understood treatments and plans for current health issues.

All experiences were very professionally carried out/done.
Dr. Gure is an outstanding provider. She is extremely thorough and has a wonderful rapport with my mother, who suffers from dementia. I would not be able to care for my mother in my home, were it not for Dr. Gure. Her kindness, companion and understanding coupled with her clinical expertise, make her a gift and blessing to the patients and families in her care.
I appreciate Dr. Gure's sincerity in really wanting to help me. She is respectful, is paying attention to my history. I appreciate that she offers encouragement, that she spends enough time with me. God bless her!
My provider was very good.
Dr. Gure is always effective in her communication with me regarding my concerns and issues. Her explanations are clear and concise.
My previous physican's practice closed suddenly a year ago. I consider myself highly fortunate to have been accepted by Dr. Gure -- that is by a doctor as competent and deserving of respect as she.
She is a very understanding person and does the best she can within limitations on appt. times.
She may be very busy - but she was attentive, we talked about several things and she put me at ease quickly.
Good experience.
Dr. Gure is wonderful. She listens and does not rush me. She has good solutions for any issue I may have. She even called me twice about my UTI.
