About Me
As section chief of geriatrics at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I have extensive experience in completing and supervising clinical evaluations of older adults in a variety of clinical care settings. My academic background is in health services research and program development — both serve as the foundation of my expertise in chronic disease epidemiology, clinical case adjudication, as well as survey and Medicare claims-based data analysis. I have been a co-investigator on the Systolic Blood Pressure Intervention Trial (SPRINT) since 2012, where I explored the complex relationship between cardiovascular comorbidity and the presence of geriatric syndromes (such as falls, cognitive impairment) in health outcomes. I have been a co-investigator with faculty in the departments of Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, Pharmacology, Hematology-Oncology, Neurology, and in the schools of Nursing, Public Affairs, Public Health, and Social Work.

Excellent listening and explains well. Very good experience with her intern as well.
There were no bad experiences. I wish she had been at OSU many years ago so she could have been my physician clear back then.
Dr. Gure takes so much time with me. She is very personable and takes time to listen. I know I wasn't her only patient there at the time of my appointment but, she sure made me feel like I was!!

She is the best dr. I have ever had. Listens, takes time, is knowledgeable & follows up with other information when needed.
Dr. Gure was always very helpful and nice = And she was that way today too. She seems to care a great deal for her patients! She prescribed for my anemia (which I had in high school and my senior year in college). Hopefully - I will over come being so tired all the time.
She was OK but seemed to be sure of issue and solution without listening much to the nuances of what was happening.
She is fantastic I could not have a better dr.
Always professional, yet, caring, warm, compassionate, concerned, always an excellent listener.
All matters handled appropriately.
