Biography

I am Tommy McQuaid, PT, DPT, and I specialize in inpatient physical therapy at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My practice focuses on helping hospitalized patients regain mobility, improve function, and safely return to their daily activities.

As a physical therapist at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, I work with patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, and complex medical conditions. I provideing individualized care that supports each patient's goals, promotes their independence, and helps them achieve the highest possible level of function during their recovery.

My approach to care emphasizes collaboration, patient education, and evidence-based rehabilitation strategies. I work closely with patients, families, and the broader care team to create treatment plans that address each person's unique needs and help them progress safely throughout their hospital stay.

I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The Ohio State University School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, and it informs my delivery of patient-centered care.

Consulting and related relationships

In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
