Biography
I have extensive experience in performing arts, from my own practice in classical ballet and modern dance to teaching dancers at all skill levels and basic figure skating. As a young dancer I focused on classical ballet and studied and performed in Cuba, Russia, Taiwan, and with various regional companies. My dance medicine experience began as a physical therapy student in New York City, where I treated pre-professional and professional dancers, including dancers from several Broadway shows and the Paul Taylor Dance Company. As a member of the Performing Arts Medicine Program I have assisted with performance coverages, dance wellness workshops and the clinical management of many dancers. In addition, I am a member of our ACL injury prevention and hip outcomes teams.
I am a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the APTA's Orthopedic Section and performing arts special interest groups, the Ohio Physical Therapy Association (OPTA), The American Society of Biomechanics, and the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS). My clinical and research interests include anatomical variations, biomechanics, lower extremity injuries, and injury prevention.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Tiffany Marulli has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
