Biography
I am a cardiologist and an associate professor of clinical internal medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
I earned my doctor of osteopathic medicine from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. I went on to complete my residency and fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. I received multiple awards while in school including the Chief Cardiology Fellow Award, Clinical Research Fellow Award and Intern of the Year.
I am involved with the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians as a Fellow and serving on numerous professional committees. I am a founding member and past president of the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echo Labs, and on the board of directors of the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission.
I am board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Dr. Obarski has been my cardiologist since around 1996. He has always made appropriate decisions regarding my heart health, he has seen me through 2 heart valve surgeries, I have the upmost trust in his care, he deserves a reward.
