About Me
I became a psychologist because I am passionate about supporting others in order to help them live a higher quality of life. My patients can expect open communication and a comfortable environment during every visit. I work with each patient on definable actions they can take daily to help them achieve and maintain their goals.
The psychologists who educated me helped shape how I view the field and who I am today, and I proudly pass on that knowledge and expertise to the next generation of providers. I aim to provide the same opportunities given to me, to the students, residents and fellows I work with, to help them meet their own goals. I do this as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health within The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I also supervise postdoctoral psychologists seeking licensure.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Schlairet has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
