Biography
As a clinical psychologist, I work with a variety of psychosocial concerns including depression, anxiety, insomnia and general adjustment to life stressors. I also provide care for those living with chronic health conditions such as chronic pain, diabetes and gastrointestinal illnesses. My primary goal as a provider is to connect with patients by establishing a supportive and collaborative environment. I use research-supported behavioral and cognitive therapies with a focus on providing patients with actionable skills to help them pursue meaningful life goals and improve overall quality of life.
The most enjoyable part about working at Ohio State is the collaborative atmosphere and opportunities for interdisciplinary work. I enjoy partnering with healthcare providers from other disciplines to identify effective ways to improve patient care.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with friends, pets and family.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dr. Westbrook has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
