About Me
As a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained interventional pain management specialist, I see patients with complex pain complaints.
Within the field of pain medicine, I am particularly interested in neuromodulation. Spinal cord stimulation specifically, is a treatment that has been successful with some of my toughest cases who weren’t able to find relief through other interventions.
Whether a patient’s pain is a result of trauma, injury, cancer or degenerative changes, it can significantly interfere with his or her quality of life. I do my best to apply my training to each and every challenge and together, with the rest of our dedicated spine team, help my patients find relief from their unusually unrelenting problems.
I love working here at Ohio State because I’m able to collaborate with other specialists from different fields to help find solutions, solve problems and deliver the best possible care.
When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my wife and two-year old daughter. I’m also an avid European soccer and Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Dr. Weaver is nice he makes sure you feel safe and comfortable to what's about to happen with the procedure . He even asked me if I want to wait to do the other side at a later date. He's all about making sure his Patients are comfortable nit to afraid he talks to you in a way that calms you down about what's going to take place. I just don't have enough words to describe how good he is with his Patients. And good at what he does as a Doctor. I can't I just don't have enough words to express how good I feel about Dr. Weaver. I am so glad God Blessed me with a good and caring Doctor.

I spoke extensively about needing care for my back and neck and only received care for my neck. I was told that if I needed imaging for my back, I would need another appointment, and I cannot schedule one quickly enough. I will not receive adequate care or certainty that my back is in good condition before I have to return to work.

Dr. Weaver is great, however I was told not to talk to him on procedure days about my concerns.
He was so kind! When you have chronic back pain you get used to doctor's immediately thinking you are a drug seeker. He really listened to what was going on with me. We walked through all the options and decided to start with an MRI since I had not had one taken in over two decades. His staff was in touch with me within two days of getting the results and had me in the office by the end. The results were not pretty. He patiently went over the results and referred me to a surgeon. Before I left the office that day he reviewed all my pain management options. I felt SEEN!

Excellent skill at delivering epidural for spinal stenosis. He seems very RUSHED and I know patients were backed up waiting for their turn: but when the needle goes in, he is very FOCUSED and I've had no complications.

Dr. Weaver has been my pain doctor for almost 7 years. He performs ablations on my spine about every 12 to 14 mths. I see Dr. Weaver every 3 months for pain consultation. Dr. Weaver is caring and is always concerned for my care. Whatever you pay him, it isn't enough. Never lose this doctor, he is one of the best you have on staff.
He did the procedure very accurately with very little pain. Was apologetic when I reacted to the needle he used. Of 3 different doctors who have done this procedure on me, he is far the best!!
