Biography

I am a board-certified cardiologist specializing in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions including those requiring heart transplantation and long-term management of heart failure.

My patients can rely on me for high quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about advancing cardiovascular medicine through education and mentorship. I serve as an assistant clinical professor of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

    Dr Patel was very thorough in assessing my concerns. Confidence in a provider is very important especially when (I am older etc.) Every time I have seen dr Patel, I have left his office feeling heard and that every part of my concerns were addressed.
