About Me
As a primary care physician, I take pride in being the first contact, investigator and advocate of my patients’ health and wellbeing. I strive towards building trustful and long lasting relationships with my patients and their families.
I am passionate about disease prevention by early intervention, raising awareness and empowering my patients lead a healthier life.The scope of my practice includes treatment of general medical conditions, mental health problems, chronic disease management and preventative health screenings.
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is committed to the advancement of healthcare in local and global communities. It offers abundant opportunities for learning and teaching the future generations of health care providers.
Besides practicing medicine, I love to train medical students and residents in outpatient as well as inpatient settings. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, exercising and exploring nature trails. I grew up in Northern India, and speak Hindi, Punjabi, Kannada and Urdu, in addition to English.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2022, Dr. Ohri has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Everything was very good. She spent quality time with me & listened carefully plus gave great feedback.
She was VERY detailed oriented and paid attention to every detail of my history. Refreshing to see primary care still has a high bar at OSU. THANK YOU! I've already asked my mom to schedule/establish with her!
Bullied me about A1C Wanted to push even more pills on me. Some I can't take because of family thyroid issues and some I refuse to take. Did not appreciate having to say over and over that I understood the risk.II see many specialists and have managed to keep myself alive 30 years after cancer.

Dr. Ohri is a caring physician - who listens & discusses information in an understandable way. Also checked on condition from previous visit even though that wasn't purpose of this visit.
She was direct in her responding to my health concern.
Provider didn't show concern for current health issues. I found her the be rude and patronizing. Provider did not look at my past health history regarding autoimmune diseases and ongoing complications from them. I need further ANA testing, as well as a pre existing MRI regarding cervical lumbar spine bones joint an muscle and continuous chronic pain. A referral to Rheumatologist

Dr. Ohri always takes the time to listen to my concerns and provided me with options on how I would like to address my medical issues. Anytime I reach out through MyChart with questions, I always get a prompt response.

Nothing bad, all good.
I was not very impressed by Dr. Ohri. She wasn't very friendly and was somewhat cold in how she approached me. I did not see her smile once and she was very serious but did not create a welcoming atmosphere. In fact, her student was so much better than she was and was much more friendly and seemed to care more. She would ask a question regarding another doctor and when I answered she would interrupt me halfway through explaining who it was saying "I don't need to know all of that" despite answering her question. Definitely did not show qualities that I would look for in a doctor and will probably switch doctors very soon.

She seems like a decent physician. She was nice but seems very research driven and has more of a holistic approach. I appreciate that she has my chart pulled up and goes through what she is putting in my chart from orders to recommendations.
I was pleased to get to know the provider. She was honest and professional. It was a pleasure to meet her.
She was very interested in my issues and learning more about each thing and fixing them.
My provider is wonderful, she always shows concern for my issues, and doesn't ever just brush it off. She's recommended multiple very qualified people to help with my mental health multiple times, and doesn't make me continue things that don't work or that I don't like. She also helps me save a lot of money on specific tests that usually would cost ~ $600 by giving evaluation forms and consulting with mental health professionals herself.
