Biography
As a primary care physician, I take pride in being the first contact, investigator and advocate of my patients’ health and wellbeing. I strive towards building trustful and long lasting relationships with my patients and their families.
I am passionate about disease prevention by early intervention, raising awareness and empowering my patients lead a healthier life.The scope of my practice includes treatment of general medical conditions, mental health problems, chronic disease management and preventative health screenings.
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is committed to the advancement of healthcare in local and global communities. It offers abundant opportunities for learning and teaching the future generations of health care providers.
Besides practicing medicine, I love to train medical students and residents in outpatient as well as inpatient settings. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, exercising and exploring nature trails. I grew up in Northern India, and speak Hindi, Punjabi, Kannada and Urdu, in addition to English.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. I have tried this doctor for the last 3 years but the experience is getting worse. Doctor did check Heart and Lungs, never check my Head and Neck, never check my nose, I have to asked her to check my ears since I haven't some issuesDoctor did a briefcheck my Abdomen went I was setting when prev doctors will always do lying down.
Always friendly and helpful
Seemed to focus more on my history than my present condition. Wanted to treat previous issues which I had stated are not a problem anymore.
Dr. Ohri spent a good deal of time making sure I had information I needed to help me with some serious problems with my health.

Nothing bad
Met Dr. Ohri for the first time as I needed help with shoulder pain and she was able to see me right away. She provided excellent care and a plan going forward. I really appreciate the care she provided for me
I do like Dr. Ohri, I think she is very knowledgeable and "book" smart and knows her craft. I do wish however, that she took my concerns and the issues I had been communicating more seriously or explain why she didn't believe what I was saying to be relevant.
Dr. Ohri spent time with me and answered my questions. I felt good after my annual checkup. Dr. Ohri followed up with me that same night with result feedback. I appreciate her knowledge and care.

Dr. Ohri is very thorough and takes her time to address any of my concerns. She is very professional and genuinely concerned for her patients. She has even provided follow-up to test results after hours and on the weekends.
I would like the Dt to explain what the blood tests are. I always have to Google the tests.

She is awesome. She's come a long way since our first visit but didn't seem too up to date on my health conditions which all my other doctors seem to know offhand. For example she asked if I smoke and it's clear I quit six years ago, and didn't know any personal items about me after the third visit whereas other doctors are quite personal

Bullied me about A1C Wanted to push even more pills on me. Some I can't take because of family thyroid issues and some I refuse to take. Did not appreciate having to say over and over that I understood the risk.II see many specialists and have managed to keep myself alive 30 years after cancer.
