Biography
I am a neuropsychologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I commonly work with patients with various forms of dementia including Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body disease and frontotemporal dementia. I also see patients with mild cognitive impairment and Parkinson’s disease.
My role involves conducting neuropsychological evaluations to assist with diagnosis and treatment planning. When patients come to see me, they can always expect a comprehensive and compassionate approach and can trust that I will do all I can to help determine the best treatment plan for their individual needs.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dr. Thornton has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
