About Me

I am a certified nurse practitioner in the Division of Hematology at the OSUCCC – James. I received my master’s degree in nursing from The Ohio State University, and I’m currently pursuing my Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Ohio State as well. I have been working at The James since 2013, where I treat patients who have been diagnosed with lymphomas and other hematologic malignancies.

The James is a wonderful place to work. Our resources give us such a huge advantage, as we have access to a variety of treatment options and clinical trials. As a result, our patients can be confident that they’re being treated by an experienced and sub-specialized team of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, social workers, patient care resource managers and pharmacists.

Patients constantly mention how attentive and caring our staff is here at The James. During this difficult moment in their lives, patients need to feel support and that we have their best interests at heart at all times. We celebrate in their successes, and we work with them to mitigate their issues, whether it’s finances, transportation, treatment options, symptom management, etc. The other fantastic thing about The James is the amount of support that our team members receive. There is always someone else we can approach to discuss patient care.

Getting a cancer diagnosis can be daunting for patients, and they need our help and support during and after chemotherapy, surgery or radiation. Lymphoma patients are an inspiring group of individuals, and I consider it a privilege to work with them and support their needs.
