Biography
I’m a board-certified neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, specializing in neurocritical care. I care for patients with serious neurological conditions, including stroke and cerebral small vessel diseases, often in intensive care settings where rapid, expert decision-making is essential.
My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that supports patients and their families during some of the most critical moments of their lives. I work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives personalized treatment tailored to their unique medical needs and recovery goals.
I completed my medical degree at Pennsylvania State College of Medicine, followed by residency and fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic. I am board certified in both neurology and vascular neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a clinical professor of neurology and am actively involved in research focused on improving outcomes in stroke and subarachnoid hemorrhage. I’m committed to advancing care through both innovation and education.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Vivien Lee has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
