Primary Care - Family Medicine
Department: Family Medicine
I am an integrative health and functional medicine provider at the Center for Integrative Health within the Department of Family and Community Medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Using an evidence-based approach, I provide consultations to patients looking for solutions to their chronic issues through lifestyle changes, herbs and supplements and other modalities. In addition, I help patients achieve and maintain optimal health consistent with their goals.
I believe in a whole-person approach to care that considers each patient’s unique physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs. I also believe in empowering the patient to take ownership of their own health. I work with my patients as a collaborative partner as we discover which options will benefit their individual needs.
Please note that I do not provide primary care at this time. I strongly recommend that all patients be established with a primary care provider in addition to working with me.
Please note: Not all physicians schedule patients at each listed location.
This philosophy strongly influences my academic work. My research is focused on integrative medicine, specifically on strategies to better capture and assess patient outcomes. I also study health outcomes emerging from the overlap between a patient's lifestyle choices, their environmental exposures and their genetics or other markers of bio-individuality.

The overall patient satisfaction rating is an average of all patient responses to the six doctor communication related questions shown below from the Clinician and Group Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey. For additional information about the patient satisfaction survey, please visit our Patient Satisfaction Survey page.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
