About Me
As a family medicine physician, I provide outpatient treatment for all kinds of conditions requiring a range of care services including chronic care, acute care, office surgical procedures, preadmission testing and physical exams. Many of my patients come to me for health promotion and prevention. I use lean Six Sigma techniques to increase both clinical and process improvement outcomes. I closely evaluate each patient while working in collaboration with a team of nurse practitioners, pharmacists, social workers, dieticians and numerous specialists to ensure my patients are receiving the highest quality professional medical care available. I strive to also demonstrate compassion, integrity and respect for my patients and their families.
I enjoy working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because of the variety of opportunities available to the faculty and staff. For example, my position at Ohio State has allowed me to participate in leadership activities, ranging from administrative responsibilities to medical education for resident physicians and medical residents. I also enjoy the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients as my outpatient volume is among the highest in Ohio State’s primary care network.
In my free time I enjoy competing in triathlons and taking my S2 7.9 sailboat out on Lake Erie.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

I went with some concerns and found out that he had analyzed my past CT -Scans and determined That I had no Liver fat. This changed my whole thinking of what may problems maybe related to.
I was upset and worried about my constant tachycardia and possible anxiety and Dr. Buoni was condescending and dismissive. He tried to attribute the cause to conditions I knew I didn't have (no menopause or thyroid issues, confirmed via blood work). He ordered blood work and, even though there was a test result that was abnormal, he never called me to discuss or follow up.
Doctor Buoni listened carefully to what I described as a recent event which bothered me. We discussed my options in case any future events should occur as I was concerned that this was a one time event only.

Dr Buoni is the best doctor I have ever had. I only wish he was accepting new patients so my husband could switch to his care. I am always listened too and all my medical questions and/or concerned answered completely. He is so friendly and makes me feel like I am his only patient. DR Buoni connects with his patients on a personal level instead of just a stuffy white coat doctor.

Dr. Buoni asked me questions about the muscle in the top of my forearm and used physical flexes with my right arm that allowed him to quickly with absolute certainty that what I have is tennis elbow from quick, sudden twists with my forearm and wrist at work.
Always friendly and and amazed at my A1C since I crossed the line. It is not too much over.
