Physician, Assistant Professor
Neuromuscular Medicine, Neurology
Department: Neurology
I am a neurologist specializing in neuromuscular medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I diagnose and treat a variety of conditions including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), myasthenia gravis (MG), gait disorders and peripheral nervous system diseases. When patients come to see me, they can expect compassionate care and a customized approach that best matches their individual needs and goals.
Neurological diseases significantly impact how people interact with the world around them and treating them requires close attention to detail. I always listen carefully to my patients to understand what they are experiencing, and I am passionate about getting them answers. I use the most advanced science and research available to find the correct diagnosis and help them improve their health.
My job includes helping to prepare the next generation of physicians. In my own training, I had role models who taught me that even with the advances in diagnostic testing, the best neurological care still happens in the clinic with the physical examination and patient history. I continue to see the wisdom of that lesson in my practice, and I work to pass that on to residents and fellows.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Excellent care. Very complete and professional
All good
I felt like he wrote off all my symptoms and didn't give me any helpful information or explain why I might be having these symptoms
Thoroughly listened and evaluated
Dr Everette was very thorough and explained everything in detail.
Very good experience e
I drove an hour to and more than 90 minutes home. I spent almost an hour with the nurse practitioner for almost two hours. The doctor came in and made me feel like he could care less about me and my issues. He played off all of my issues like I was a liar or he had more important things to do. He did a few repeat tests and scheduled tests that he said would not prove anything, but he would still order them. This made me very upset. He acted like he was doing this just to appease me. I informed the nurse practitioner and the young lady in scheduling that I was extremely unhappy and I would never be back.
Questions appropriately
Dr. Everett is an excellent listener. He answered my questions directly and honestly. I feel he understands the anxiety I have about my condition.
The people we worked with were positive experiences over all.
