Biography
As a general neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I treat patients with a variety of neurological diseases including migraines, tremor, memory disorders and movement disorders.
Neurological diseases are complicated and can often change suddenly. Close monitoring of patients is a very important part of the care I provide.
Ohio State has many specialties with expert specialists who provide excellent care to our patients. We have a very supportive environment in the Department of Neurology.
I enjoy spending what free time I have gardening.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

He came in shortly after the nurse/assistant left. There was not much talking...he checked several body responses then ordered my next appointment

This was a first visit to your offices, so it was to see what I needed help with. Dr. Was so hard to understand and to get my point across.
Hopefully, we will not have to see him anymore. The doctor came in and was not prepared at all for the visit. He kept asking us. When was the last time we had an appointment he kept asking us when the last time we had an MRI he kept asking us. What did the other care provider that he had referred us to said. He was not prepared whatsoever, he kept asking us questions about what had happened to us within the past three months that was actually in his charts and I finally just said to him, don't you know? And then he got offended by that. So hopefully I will be able to find us another Dr at OSU because we don't want to go to him anymore..
Always shows care and concern
Dr. Lin is always respectful and polite. Knows my record and has even agreed to see a relative after he receives the referral. Awesome doctor

He was very friendly but walked in with zero knowledge of my medical history and also did not seem interested in knowing it. He suggested several potential causes for my symptoms without pausing to ask if they were co-occuring conditions I had or if they were in my medical history (they weren't). I do appreciate that he ordered testing, though he strongly emphasized that it was only for my peace of mind. This phrasing felt very invalidating when I've been struggling with symptoms that really impact my functioning and scare me and the only explanations he offered to me did not apply to my medical history.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Lin because I had been diagnosed with CSVD and my manifestations were worsening. I was seeking a second opinion and possible treatment. Dr. Lin asked many questions about my condition, medical history, treatments and medications. Shared that he had carefully reviewed my brain MRI. Provided his impression of and conclusions about my test, which was different from my initial feedback. Dr. Lin provided solid rationales for his conclusions that I do not have any manifestations of SVD.
Dr Yixin is a GREAT Dr I just wish he would slow down some and not make me feel like he's rushing to get through my appointment
I received no follow-up call regarding the test ordered (MRI) because I haven't had the test yet.

Saw this neurologist around week 8 of my Bell's Palsy recovery, and unfortunately, the visit was a complete waste of time. He didn't assess my facial symmetry using any kind of standardized scale, ask about my recovery timeline, or show any interest in the supplements and therapies I've been using. I've regained about 95% of my facial movement, but he offered no guidance on retraining exercises or long-term prognosis. Instead, he defaulted to ordering an MRI and blood tests to rule out causes like Lyme disease, despite the fact that I'm not showing any symptoms that would warrant that. I left feeling dismissed and unsupported. At this stage in recovery, I expected a more personalized and informed approach. A complete and total waste of time and money, and a prime example of why no one trusts doctors anymore.

Truthful checked me out .did test and gave an diagnosis that seemed appropriate when check with other fr and med diagnostics. He explained why and how as opposed to show me a scull when he was suppose to deal with nasal tissue and tell me it was from my stomach coming up out of my nasal. And never touch me then try to charge for surgery. The PdR said it was a side affect of Dr Lim'dx.Dr. Lim over allis excellent and matched PDR PLUS.

The doctor listened to concern about going into darkness due to dementia. He changed her medicine to slow down the progression of the disease. The doctor is excellent.

Not with this visit but previous visit.. We drove an hour and a half to get there. He told me to touch my nose with my finger, said everything looked fine, and left the room. My husband and myself couldn't believe it. Then we drove an hour and a half home. With this visit, he did spend more time with me; but we probably could've handled the appointment in a Telehealth visit.

The Dr asked a lot of appropriate questions, but did not listen to my story and events. He seemed really rushed, like he needed to be somewhere else. He was very polite, but his quick conSult makes me wonder if I need to see a different doctor. It is more difficult to feel like I'm getting the best care available with the rushed bedside manner. He is the 5th neurologist that I have seen for my problem, and I'd really like someone who is very focused on my issue.
Dr good. Did not go by others opinion but his own and what l explained . Did not try to bamboozal me w/BS. I know soft tissue xray and an empty skull. Lin listened,examined and followed through. He is not lazy in his practice or thinking. When what he prescribed made things worse he change med. He is a Doctor.

Dr Lin is friendly, but he doesn't say much. I had to ask questions to try to pull information out of him. It's difficult because he's the expert, I am not, and I don't know what to ask so I was very disappointed. I saw him less than 5 minutes and honestly the visit felt like a waste of time off work.

My provider did not seem rushed, but the appointment was over in15 minutes for a problem that has gone on for me for three months. He did, however, order a series of blood tests.

Dr. Lin semed to dismiss a possible post concussion issue concerning a 40 year old head injury. I explained I was having problems with treatment resistant depression and that dome of the depression symptoms are similar to a Post concussion problem and my psychiatrist and I wanted to rule out the possibility that symptoms were coming from post concussion.
He is always on time but he is always in such a hurry and I don't feel he really listens to me or has solutions to problems I am having.

I love his personality, but I feel like he rushes through the appointment and it lasts 1-2 minutes. I feel like I have to force him to listen to my medical concerns. I now drive 30ish minutes since he is at the Dublin Wexner Center instead of the one in New Albany which is where I began to see him.

Dr Lin is a good neurologist, but his expensive tests only told me what I already knew. He ruled out malignant disease but failed to explain, or even hypothesize, what could be causing my symptoms.
