Biography
I am a speech-language pathologist (SLP), specializing in inpatient rehabilitation care at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My speech-language pathology practice focuses on helping hospitalized patients address communication, cognitive and swallowing challenges as part of their recovery and rehabilitation.
As a member of the inpatient rehabilitation team at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, I work closely with patients and their care teams to support their functional communication, cognitive-linguistic skills and safe swallowing. I am committed to delivering patient-centered care that is tailored to each individual's goals, needs and recovery journey.
I believe that effective rehabilitation begins with understanding each patient's unique circumstances and priorities. My approach emphasizes collaboration with patients, patient education and evidence-based therapy, to help patients maximize independence and improve quality of life during and after their inpatient rehabilitation stay.
