Our expert nephrology team consists of MDs, DOs, nurse practitioners, fellows and nurses who have dedicated training in kidney diseases and disorders.
Scheduling an appointment for kidney care at Ohio State
You must have a physician referral to make an appointment with any of Ohio State’s kidney clinics and care teams. A referral can come from your primary care doctor or other specialist, such as a cardiologist or Ob/Gyn.
A scheduler will follow up with you within 48 hours of receiving and processing the referral form from your physician.
Your appointment will be scheduled with a provider who specializes in your area of concern and has the earliest availability. Our nephrology providers meet with one another weekly to collaborate on patient treatment plans, ensuring that you’ll have a comprehensive care plan individualized for your needs.
