Reine Youssef earned her B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Marshall University. She had conducted biological research at the University of West Virginia for two years before moving to OSU, where she assisted in the study of meningioma tumorigenesis. Reine also worked as a research assistant in the laboratory of Dr. Amir Hass studying the mid-term impact of reclamation practices on water quality. Following graduation, Reine has joined Dr. Benjamin Segal’s lab in January of 2020, working as a lab technician. She is assisting various lab members with experiments investigating the role of myeloid cells in neuro-regeneration.
