As a psychiatrist, I specialize in child and adolescent psychiatry. I spend the majority of my clinical time providing care on the adolescent inpatient unit at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, as the Medical Director of that unit. In addition, I've been selected to direct the child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital. The fellowship program has grown tremendously in recent years and I am very proud of my graduates and the work they are doing. I am nationally involved in our child psychiatry organization (AACAP) as the Co-Chair of the Inpatient, Residential and Partial Hospitalization Committee and a member of the Child Maltreatment and Violence Committee. Lastly, I am actively involved in our national psychiatric training organization (AADPRT) as a member of the Recruitment Committee, previously also serving on the Executive Committee.
