- Analyze hospital and Medicaid databases for persons with schizophrenia and psychosis.
- Measure workforce numbers and project future needs using health economics.
- Measure psychiatry residents’ competency in treating SMI populations by exam, exposure to clinical settings, exposure to educational opportunities.
- Survey Psychiatry program directors and Psychiatry residents regarding curriculum and educational experiences in integrated care, leadership, telemedicine, etc.
- Work with other university training programs to improve education of the mental health and primary care workforces.
