Physical Therapist
I am Jonathan Zins, PT, DPT, GCS, a physical therapist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in neurological rehabilitation, Parkinson’s disease management, and healthy aging. My practice focuses on helping individuals improve mobility, balance, function and quality of life through personalized physical therapy and evidence-based rehabilitation.
As a physical therapist in the Division of Neurological Rehabilitation within Rehabilitation Services at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, I empower patients to achieve their goals and maintain independence.
After earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, I further specialized in geriatrics by becoming a board-certified geriatric clinical specialist (GCS). I have expertise in Parkinson’s disease, fall prevention, bone health, aging, and balance training. My approach emphasizes education, collaboration and practical strategies that help patients move with greater confidence and participate more fully in the activities that matter most to them.
I am passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of all my patients and supporting innovative approaches to neurological rehabilitation. Through my clinical work, teaching within Ohio State’s DPT program, and mentorship of residents, I strive to advance rehabilitation practices and improve patient outcomes while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
