About Me
As a physician assistant at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in sports medicine knee surgery. I primarily see patients for knee pain, arthritis in the knee(s), meniscus tears, ACL tears and patellar dislocation. I treat each of my patients as if they are a family member by listening to them, educating them and helping them reach their ideal quality of life again.
At Ohio State, it’s clear that our physicians are inspired by the work and continue to learn their craft as the knowledge and tools implemented in their medical specialties continue to grow. They stay up to date with the latest research and perform the most cutting-edge surgeries and procedures.
In my free time, I enjoy golfing, including disc golf, as well as watching Ohio State basketball and football games.

Excellent
Informed
Listened to my concerns and discussed course of action.
Reasonable treatment for problem; asked for my opinion in that treatment
He was one of the most caring doctors. Very surprised on the first visit how much he cared. Immediately called about a followup appointment once he saw the mri results
He did not listen or care about what I was concerned with, he was late, rude, and dismissive. He clearly didn't want to work that day and told me surgery was my only option and said if I had a desk job, my knee wouldn't hurt so bad!
Great job, I felt comfortable and at ease with the checkup
Good and helpful
I was pleased
Very informative and helpful and willing to listen
A perfect 10
PA David was very through and answered all questions in regard to my appointment and his professional opinion on future treatment also.
He was not the PA in the OR with me, but he knew exactly what my surgical history was and did an excellent job with my first post-op visit. Listened to my only concern and prescribed appropriately. Great care.
David was excellent and skillful with the needle, which I truly appreciated.
Dave Thompson was excellent. He was very thorough. Understood my issue and was able to provide relief and options.
Friendly, knowledgeable
