Experience, skills and interests
What led me to a career in physical therapy was going through 2 knee surgeries, a high ankle sprain that landed me in a walking boot and a car wreck that temporarily damaged my cervical spine alignment. Going through PT for all of these issues gives me relatability as well as determination to improve my patients and watch them succeed.

I have working in the field of physical therapy as a assistance since May of 2015 where I began my career with Cornerstone PT in Gahanna. From there moved onto to Adena Health systems in Chillicothe where I spent over 7 years from January 2016 until late August 2023. I gained a lot of knowledge there working for a outpatient orthopedic hospital system very similar to the workings of Ohio State. I obtained the opportunity to work closer to home and land my dream job at Ohio State in August of 2023. I am from Columbus, grew up on the south end... Moved to Grove City where I graduated HS and currently am living back in Grove city. I am thrilled to have the ability to serve the community and do what I really love.

I have taken course work on IASTM (Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization) for healing promote, fluid regulation, scar tissue and restriction resolution. Hands on course for Muscle energy techniques for ambiguity corrections of the lumbar, pelvis and sacral spine. My almost 9 years of experience and multiple continuing education courses has made me a well rounded PTA. Again, looking forward to using my knowledge and experience to improve the Columbus community. Go Bucks!
