Experience and Interests
Lauren Tiemeier received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from The Ohio State University in 2006. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the College of Mount Saint Joseph in 2010. Lauren became a Certified Therapeutic Pain Specialist in 2020 and is the Team Lead for Chronic Pain for The Ohio State University Ambulatory Rehabilitation Team. Lauren has assisted with the publication of the Chronic Pain Clinical Practice Guideline in 2018, and the revision in 2020. Lauren also assisted with The Ohio State University medical center guideline in 2020, and revised in 2022. Lauren is also part of a multi-disciplinary chronic pain team that empowers patients to live fully productive and meaningful lives by providing coordinated, multi-modal, team based care.
Lauren was a member of The Ohio State University Synchronized Swim team and was a 2-time National Champion. In her free time, Lauren enjoys supporting Buckeye athletics, attending her kids athletic events, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and 3 kids.
