Experience and Interests
Samantha has an extensive background in performing arts, with experience performing and competing in both dance and gymnastics from an early age. Her training continued while attending Ohio University, where she obtained a minor in dance performance and choreography, with emphasis on ballet and modern techniques. As a member of the OSU Performing Arts Medicine Team, Samantha performs on-site coverage for the OSU School of Dance, OSU School of Music and BalletMet. She has also provided backstage coverage for a variety of Broadway shows such as Phantom of the Opera, Book of Mormon, and Alvin Ailey Dance Theater. Samantha has committed her time to teaching and educating physical therapy students by serving as a faculty member of our Performing Arts Fellowship and is our Site Coordinator of Clinical Education for Sports Medicine. Samantha works at our Lewis Center location, with a focus on treating and preventing lower extremity injuries.
