Experience and Interests
Dr. Sam Marunowski is a physical therapist with passion and knowledge of sports medicine and orthopedic conditions to help push every patient that walks in the door to achieve optimal strength and movement patterns to achieve their goals and enhance their performance of the activities they love. During his graduate work, he completed a variety of clinical experiences including a practicum in Sports Medicine where he worked with the baseball athletes at Bo Jackson Elite Sports. Sam is a part of our upper extremity, soccer, barbell medicine and tactical rehab teams. Given his background and passion for sports and weight lifting Sam treats a wide variety of patients at Gahanna and has specific interests in working with barbell athletes such as powerlifters, body builders, and crossfitters; as well as sports-specific rehab, in particular the overhead/throwing athlete.
