Throughout her undergraduate study at Ohio Northern University, Alissa worked with women’s soccer, baseball, football, track and field, and wrestling teams in addition to a physical therapy clinical rotation in Lima, Ohio. She has also worked with collegiate NAIA division I baseball, basketball, competition cheerleading, and dance teams in Illinois. She then moved to North Carolina and worked directly in a physical therapy clinic as well as provided outreach sports medicine coverage with local club soccer teams. Alissa recently moved back to Ohio and began working with Ohio state as an IRP athletic trainer with the Columbus Crusaders and has now began her full time position as a physician extender.
