Lung Transplant Support Group
Receiving an organ transplant can profoundly impact the recipient's physical, emotional and overall life. Having support from individuals who have undergone similar experiences can make adjusting to these changes much smoother.
The lung transplant support group at the Ohio State Comprehensive Transplant Center is open to our lung transplant recipients, wait-listed lung patients, and their support networks. This group provides a nurturing environment for emotional support and educational opportunities, both before and after the transplant process. This group meets weekly on Tuesdays, January through October.
