Borah Dawson, a mother of four, found her life upended when she was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma, a rare brain tumor. Facing brain surgery, Dawson knew she needed to have full trust in her medical team. She placed that trust in her surgeons and physical therapists at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center.

Making dreams come true for patients

Ron Rosas, former tennis star and quadruple amputee, dreamed of playing tennis again. No other medical center said they would be able to save his right elbow, which would make it possible for him to play. At the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, thanks to the work of more than 100 staffers, Ron’s elbow was saved, and he was successfully fitted for prosthetics.
