Biography
As a female pelvic medicine physician and reconstructive surgeon, I treat patients with urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, voiding dysfunction, recurrent urinary tract infections and other anatomic injuries such as vesicovaginal and rectovaginal fistulas. Many of these conditions can have a debilitating effect on a woman’s sense of well-being. Women commonly struggle with these problems and unfortunately, think they cannot be addressed, assuming the issues are 'part of being a woman." In most instances, there are a variety of interventions that can be implemented, ranging from behavioral changes to surgery.
My favorite part about working at Ohio State is the camaraderie among my colleagues. It’s not uncommon in my field to work with urologists, colorectal surgeons, gastroenterologists, physical therapists and gynecologic oncologists when treating a single patient. Ohio State attracts the very best physicians, who are dedicated not just to the practice of medicine but also to science. We are not only involved in caring for people, but for setting the standard for that care.
In my free time I enjoy training for triathlons and walking my two Australian shepherds with my wife. I have two busy teenagers and my weekends are usually spent at hockey and lacrosse games, crew regattas, orchestra concerts and helping with math, science and English homework.

I accidentally voided during my exam and the dr asked if I knew I'd had some urine leakage on him during exam... I didn't until is was already touching my skin so embarrassing. I quickly apologized and said it was so embarrassing..he replied "thanks for that." In a condescending manner. Made me feel even more embarrassed

My visit was short but Dr H didn't rush out but visited for a few minutes to get to know me a bit more. We discussed whether I wanted to continue seeing him since the medication could be prescribed by my family physician. It was nice knowing that was an option but I want to continue seeing him.

Dr. Hundley was kind and explained my issue with clear terms and examples - pictures and demonstrations. There was much information to absorb and later I regretted not having notes or an explanation page I could use for reference - this was more important during my second visit than the first.
I felt for the first time in a very long time that a Doctor, was patient concerned uplifting easy to talk to and listen and heard me me and saw me not threw me, I will request him when I go back there I pray he will be there.

Always reassuring and positive as well as competent
The first impression didn't get off to a good start. His first question was "what brings you here?" and I replied "my local Dr. Referred me due to a dropper bladder". He came back with "I didn't ask your Dr. , I asked you". I thought this was harsh. He did explain wonderfully with pictures, etc.
He went over all the questions he had concerning my part in pessary care and me following my medication for it.

Did not appreciate the doctors attitude. He treated me like I was an idiot and I really don't need to be treated that way from him or any other male doctor. He would ask questions but then when I was answering him he would respond by saying that was not pertinent to what we were discussing. And several times said that he has to educate his patients again treating me like I was a completely stupid and didn't know anything.

The Doctor was not listening to wha I had to say. He told me how I was feeling and how the medicine worked for me. He would NOT listen!
