About Me

I have been a neuroradiologist since 1995 with a clinical and research focus on spinal pathology, spinal tumors and neurovascular imaging. I serve as the vice chair of radiology/imaging clinical operations, chief of neuroradiology and as an associate professor of radiology, neurology and neurological surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Because the nervous system is responsible for basic vital life functions, early detection of these cancers is crucial. As one of the world's most advanced cancer hospitals, The James offers the latest diagnostic imaging and interventional technology. I specialize in researching and applying neuroimaging techniques to detect cancers in the central nervous system. Imaging methods such as X-rays, CT scans and PET scans provide us with non-surgical avenues to pinpoint and diagnose abnormalities. We also use noninvasive techniques such as ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to detect disease.

I received medical training in some of the most highly respected medical institutions of the nation. I completed a neuroradiology fellowship at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals and the University Hospitals of Cleveland. I also completed an interventional neuroradiology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

I hope my research efforts continue to improve our diagnostic imaging capabilities at The James and ultimately move us closer to a cancer-free world. I'm proud to work alongside the team of experts at the OSUCCC – James as a pioneer in cancer prevention, detection, treatment and research.
