Biography
I am a professor of clinical medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I am director of Heart Failure Research for the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Program.
I earned my medical degree from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., and completed my residency at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I also completed fellowships in cardiology and heart failure/cardiac transplantation at Ohio State’s College of Medicine.

My articles and abstracts have been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, and am a frequent presenter on the topics of acute and chronic heart failure management. My research interests include heart failure and hemodynamic monitoring, heart failure disease management and cardiomyopathy.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care.
