Biography

As a nocturnist, my specializations include internal medicine and hospital medicine, specifically in the administration of nighttime patient care. My duties include supervising the admittance of new patients during evening hours and providing all of our patients with overnight emergency care.

My first goal as a physician in providing nighttime care is to ensure that patients are being efficiently admitted into the hospital. This must be done in a quick yet effective manner in order to begin examinations and provide proper treatment plans. I believe in providing a high level of efficiency while also practicing compassionate care. This ensures each patient will receive quality care and have a positive experience when beginning his or her recovery.

I enjoy working at The Ohio State University because we have an excellent support staff and a wonderful hospitalist division that is focused on providing the best care for our patients. Working as a physician here has been a truly unique experience. In addition, here at Ohio State we have the opportunity to work with a very diverse patient population.

In my free time I enjoy watching movies and relaxing with my family. My wife and I are also video gamers and enjoy playing when we have the time.
